SUMMARY:20th International Conference on Applicati
on of Natural \n Language to Information Sy
 stems (NLDB'15), Passau, Germany
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20150617
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20150619
LOCATION:Passau, Germany
DESCRIPTION:Since 1995, the NLDB conference aims a
t bringing together researchers, industrials and p
otential users interested in various applications
of Natural Language in the Database and Informatio
n Systems field. The integration of databases and
natural language has been an utopia for many years
. However, progress has been made and this is now
an established field thanks to developments in Nat
ural Language and technologies that made the stora
ge and manipulation of large linguistic resources
and datasets possible. The use of Natural Language
in Software Engineering has contributed to both i
mproving the development process from the viewpoin
ts of developers (improve the process of conceptua
l modeling, validation, etc) and the usability of
applications by users (natural language query inte
rfaces, etc). NLDB'15 will take place in Passau, G
ermany. For more information, see http://nldb201
5.org/ NLDB 2015 invites researchers from academi
a and industry to submit papers for oral or poster
presentations on recent, unpublished research tha
t addresses theoretical aspects, algorithms, appli
cations, architectures for applied and integrated
NLP, resources for applied NLP, and other aspects
of NLP, as well as survey and discussion papers. F
or the 20th edition of NLDB, we especially solicit
submissions for our special track: Natural Langua
ge and its connection to Semantic and Cognitive Co
mputing. Deadline for paper submission: January 31
 , 2015.
