DESCRIPTION:The DHST commission for the history an
 d philosophy of computing (www.hapoc.org) is happy
  to announce the third HAPOC conference. The serie
 s aims at creating an interdisciplinary focus on c
 omputing, stimulating a dialogue between the histo
 rical and philosophical viewpoints. To this end, t
 he conference hopes to bring together researchers 
 interested in the historical developments of compu
 ting, as well as those reflecting on the sociologi
 cal and philosophical issues springing from the ri
 se and ubiquity of computing machines in the conte
 mporary landscape. In the past editions, the confe
 rence has successfully presented a variety of voic
 es, contributing to the creation of a fruitful dia
 logue between researchers with different backgroun
 ds and sensibilities.   Please check out the websi

 PoC 2015 we welcome contributions from historians
