DESCRIPTION:The European Summer School in Logic, L
 anguage and Information (ESSLLI) is an annual even
 t under the auspices of the Association for Logic,
  Language and Information (FoLLI) and brings toget
 her logicians, linguists, computer scientists, and
  philosophers to study language, logic, and inform
 ation, and their interconnections. ESSLLIs attract
  around 500 participants from all over the world. 
    There will be 45 courses at foundational, intro
 ductory, and advanced levels, as well as 3 worksho
 ps, invited lectures and a student session to fost
 er interdisciplinary discussion of current researc
 h. Moreover, the school features 3 satellite event
 s: the COMPOSES workshop, the 21st Conference on F
 ormal Grammar (FG 2016), and the Computational Cre
 ativity, Concept Invention, and General Intelligen
 ce (C3GI) Workshop.  Deadline for registration: 31
  July 2016 (early registration: 31 May 2016). For

     Proposals for courses and workshops at ESSLLI 
 2016 are invited in all areas of Logic, Linguistic
 s and Computing Sciences. Cross-disciplinary and i
 nnovative topics are particularly encouraged. Each
  course and workshop will consist of five 90 minut
 e sessions, offered daily (Monday-Friday) in a sin
 gle week. Proposals for two-week courses should be
  structured and submitted as two independent one-w
 eek courses. Proposal submission deadline: 1 June 
 2015.
