kshop (RPPW), Royal Tropical Institute (KIT)
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20150706
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20150708
LOCATION:Royal Tropical Institute (KIT)
DESCRIPTION:RPPW is a biannual summit that seeks t
o explore innovative means of understanding rhythm
production and perception. Rhythms are paramount
in human functioning. Walking, talking, music perf
ormance – they all have rhythmic components. As of
today the neurobiology of the underlying timing i
s not well understood, let alone the corresponding
cognitive processes. The 15th edition of RPPW is
therefore devoted to integrating various disciplin
es like biophysics, neurophysiology, cognitive psy
chology, and the science of music. For more infor
 mation, see http://www.move.vu.nl/en/news-agenda/c
