SUMMARY:Fifth Joint Conference on Lexical and Comp
utational Semantics (*SEM 2016), Berlin, Germany
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20160811
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20160812
LOCATION:Berlin, Germany
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that SIGLEX
and SIGSEM, special interest groups of the ACL, a
re organizing the fifth joint conference on lexica
l and computational semantics: *SEM (pronounced "s
tarsem"). This time *SEM will be colocated with AC
L-2016 in Berlin, Germany. *SEM brings together
researchers interested in the semantics of natural
languages and its computational modeling. The con
ference embraces symbolic and probabilistic approa
ches, and everything in between; theoretical contr
ibutions as well as practical applications are wel
come. The long-term goal of *SEM is to provide a s
table forum for the growing number of NLP research
ers working on all aspects of semantics. For more
  information, see https://sites.google.com/site/st
arsem2016/. We solicit both long and short papers
. Submissions to *SEM-2016 must describe unpublish
ed work and be written in English. *SEM papers due
 : 18th of April 2016
