DESCRIPTION:JerSem will be the 20th edition of the
  SemDial workshop series, which aims to bring toge
 ther researchers working on the semantics and prag
 matics of dialogue in fields such as formal semant
 ics and pragmatics, computational linguistics, art
 ificial intelligence, philosophy, psychology, and 
 neuroscience. In 2016 the workshop will be hosted 
 by the Rutgers University Center for Cognitive Sci
 ence, at its downtown New Brunswick Campus, approx
 imately one hour from New York City. The workshop 
 is timed to immediately follow IJCAI 2016 in New Y
 ork City, and will be collocated at Rutgers with N
 ASSLLI, the North American Summer School in Logic,
  Language and Information.   The workshop will fea
 ture a special session on Questions Under Discussi
 on, focusing on the role of discourse purposes in 
 utterance interpretation and dialogue structure, a
 nd their reflection in utterance form.  For more i

  the semantics and pragmatics of dialogue. Full pa
 per submission deadline: 20 April 2016. JerSem wil
 l also provide authors with an opportunity to subm
 it 2-page late-breaking abstracts describing syste
 m demonstrations and poster presentations, with an
  anticipated deadline in early June.
