The a
im of the AUTOMATA series is:

\n - To e
stablish and maintain a permanent, international,
multidisciplinary forum for the collaboration of r
esearchers in the field of Cellular Automata (CA)
and Discrete Complex Systems (DCS)

\n -
To provide a platform for presenting and discussi
ng new ideas and results.

\n - To suppo
rt the development of theory and applications of C
A and DCS (e.g. parallel computing, physics, biolo
gy, social sciences, and others) as long as fundam
ental aspects and their relations are concerned.**\n - To identify and study within an int
er- and multidisciplinary context, the important f
undamental aspects, concepts, notions and problems
concerning CA and DCS.\n **

\n Papers presen ting original and unpublished research on all\n fundamental aspects of cellular automata and related discrete\n complex systems are soug ht. There are two categories of\n submissio n : full papers (submission now closed) and\n exploratory papers (submission deadline: May 1, 2016). The\n later submission deadline for exploratory papers allows quick\n reportin g of recent discoveries, work -in-progress and/or\ n partial results.\n
