SUMMARY:10th International Conference on Scalable
Uncertainty Management (SUM 2016), Nice, France
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20160921
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20160923
LOCATION:Nice, France
DESCRIPTION:The conference will bring together res
earchers who are working with imperfect informatio
n in fields such as artificial intelligence, datab
ases, data mining, information retrieval, and risk
analysis with the aim of fostering collaboration
and cross-fertilization of ideas from different co
mmunities. For more information, see http://sum2
016.unice.fr/. We solicit papers on the manageme

r between theory and practice. SUM 2016 solicits l
ong papers (technical papers reporting original re
search or survey papers), short papers (papers rep
 orting promising work-in-progress, system descript
ions, position papers on controversial issues, or
survey papers providing a synthesis of some curren
t research trends). and extended abstracts of rece
ntly published work in a relevant journal or top-t
ier conference. Deadline for submissions: May 22,
 2016 (extended)
