DESCRIPTION:WOLC'2016 is the 15th anniversary of t
 he international conference on logic and cognition
  that was launched in canton in 2001. It is sponso
 red and organized by the Institute of Logic and Co
 gnition, which is one of the key research institut
 es of humanities and social sciences in Universiti
 es affiliated to the Chinese Ministry of Education
 . The 8th conference will be held in Guangzhou in 
 December 2016. The topic of the conference is non-
 classical logics and their applications. Non-class
 ical logics are the subject of a wide research are
 a with a strong interdisciplinary vocation towards
  theoretical computer science and linguistics, but
  which has recently expanded its scope towards eco
 nomics and the social and cognitive sciences. This
  conference will focus on the state-of-the-art of 
 nonclassical logics, both concerning their theory
