DESCRIPTION:Ruhr-University Bochum is hosting the 
 interdisciplinary workshop "Rational animals? Comp
 aring human and animal minds from an interdiscipli
 nary perspective". The workshop will offer three k
 eynote lectures and will be organized in four symp
 osia, each tackling one core aspect of comparative
  cognition research from both philosophical and em
 pirical perspective.   The four symposia are  a) c
 ultural evolution & social learning,  b) causal un
 derstanding and means-end reasoning,  c) theory of
  mind, and  d) the anthropological difference.   F

 number of slots for paper presentations and a post
 er session for which we invite submissions on any
