DESCRIPTION:Following on from the success of the f
 irst school in 2015, the 2nd Indian Winter School 
 on Diagrams will bring together graduate students 
 and early career researchers with interests in dia
 grams research, although participation from all re
 searchers, regardless of career stage, is welcomed
 . The week-long school will provide accessible cou
 rses on the state-of-the-art in diagrams research,
  covering three main themes: diagrammatic logics, 
 philosophical and historical developments, and emp
 irical research. Courses will be delivered by inte
 rnationally renowned experts and will have an emph
 asis on interactivity.  The School aims to enable 
 delegates to begin research into diagrams by intro
 ducing them to current research and through though
 t-provoking exchanges and discussions. The experie
 nced facilitators will tease out research question
 s that are appropriate for early-stage researchers
  to tackle, providing a starting point for a resea
 rch career in the study of logical diagrams. Deleg
 ates will be encouraged to identify collaboration 
 opportunities both with other delegates and the co
 urse facilitators.
