SUMMARY:Algebraic and Topological Methods in Non-C
 lassical Logics II, Barcelona, Spain
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20050615
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20050330
LOCATION:Barcelona, Spain
DESCRIPTION:In recent years the interest in non-cl
assical logics has been growing. Motivations from
computer science, natural language reasoning and l
inguistics have played a significant role in this
development. The semantic study of non-classical l
ogics is a field where no single overarching parad
igm has been established, and where a variety of t
echniques are currently being explored. An importa
nt goal of this meeting is to promote the cross-fe
rtilization between the fundamental ideas connecte
d with these approaches. Thus, we aim to bring tog
ether researchers from various fields of non-class
ical logics and applications, as well as from latt
ice theory, universal algebra, category theory and
general topology, in order to foster collaboratio
n and further research. For more information see
  http://www.mat.ub.es/~logica/meeting2005/ The sc
ientific programme of the congress will include a
few invited lectures and will provide ample time f
or contributed papers and interaction between part
icipants. Researchers whose interests fit the gene
ral aims of the conference are encouraged to parti
cipate. Deadline for submissions is March 30, 2005
