DESCRIPTION:The Formal Epistemology Workshop (FEW)
  is an interdisciplinary conference that showcases
  current research in epistemology, decision theory
 , modal logic, foundations of statistics, philosop
 hy of science, and philosophy of language, among o
 ther areas.  Keynote speakers: Maria Lasonen-Aarni
 o (University of Michigan), Johan van Benthem (Ams
 terdam, Stanford).  We invite papers in formal epi
 stemology, broadly construed. FEW is an interdisci
 plinary conference, and so we welcome submissions 
 from researchers in philosophy, statistics, econom
 ics, computer science, psychology, and mathematics
 .  Submissions should be prepared for blind review
 . Contributors ought to upload a full paper of no 
 more than 6000 words and an abstract of up to 300 
 words to the Easychair website. Please submit your
  full paper in .pdf format. The deadline for submi
 ssions is December 1st, 2016. Authors will be noti
 fied on February 8th, 2017.  The final selection o
 f the program will be made with an eye towards div
 ersity. We especially encourage submissions from P
 hD candidates, early career researchers and member
 s of groups that are underrepresented in philosoph
 y.
