IEA/AIE 2 017 continues the tradition of emphasizing applica tions of applied intelligent systems to solve real -life problems in all areas including engineering, science, industry, automation & robotics, bus iness & finance, medicine and biomedicine, bio informatics, cyberspace, and human-machine interac tions.
\nAuthors are invited to submit their papers in English of up to 10 sing le spaced pages, presenting the results of origina l research or innovative practical applications re levant to the conference. Practical experiences wi th state-of-the-art AI methodologies are also acce ptable when they reflect lessons of unique value t o the conference attendees. Shorter works, up to 6 pages, to be presented in 10 minutes, may be subm itted as short papers representing work in progres s or suggesting possible research directions. 2 Sp ecial tracks were added: Novel approaches to o ntological reasoning and Applications of Argumentation.
