SUMMARY:23rd International Workshop on Cellular Au
tomata and Discrete Complex Systems (AUTOMATA 2017
 ), Milano, Italy
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20170607
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20170609
LOCATION:Milano, Italy
DESCRIPTION:The aim of the AUTOMATA series is: -
To establish and maintain a permanent, internation
al, multidisciplinary forum for the collaboration
of researchers in the field of Cellular Automata (
CA) and Discrete Complex Systems (DCS). - To prov
ide a platform for presenting and discussing new i
deas and results. - To support the development of
theory and applications of CA and DCS (e.g. paral
lel computing, physics, biology, social sciences,
and others) as long as fundamental aspects and the
ir relations are concerned. - To identify and stu
dy within an inter- and multidisciplinary context,
the important fundamental aspects, concepts, noti
ons and problems concerning CA and DCS. Authors a
re invited to submit papers of no more than 12 pag
es (for full papers) or 8 pages (for exploratory p
apers). Papers presenting original and unpublished
research on all fundamental aspects of cellular a
utomata, affine/correlated models of automata (suc
h as automata networks, finite automata over finit
e/infinite words, picture languages), and related
 discrete complex systems are sought.
