SUMMARY:4th (In)Coherence of discourse workshop ,
 Nancy, France
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20170330
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20170331
LOCATION:Nancy, France
DESCRIPTION:The objective of the workshop is to di
scuss the latest advances in the modelling of disc
ourses, in particular the kind held with pathologi
cal patients (e.g. schizophrenics). The adopted mo
delling paradigm is that of formal semantics, whic
h falls within the scope of both linguistics and l
ogic while also making ties to the philosophy of l
anguage. Like the previous (In)Coherence of disco
urse workshops, the fourth edition is organised by
the SLAM (Schizophrenia and Language: Analysis an
d Modelling) project. The SLAM project aims to sys
tematize the study of pathological conversations a
s part of an interdisciplinary approach combining
Psychology, Linguistics, Computer Science and Phil
osophy. It focuses particularly on conversations i
nvolving people with psychiatric disorders (schizo
phrenia, bipolar disorder).        Authors are inv
ited to submit a two-page PDF abstract (including
references), anonymously prepared for review, in E
 nglish or French.
