SUMMARY:12th International Workshop on Computation
al Semantics (IWCS 2017), Montpellier, France
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20170919
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20170922
LOCATION:Montpellier, France
DESCRIPTION:The aim of the IWCS conference is to b
ring together researchers interested in the comput
 ation, annotation, extraction, and representation
of meaning in natural language, whether from a lex
ical or structural semantic perspective. IWCS embr
aces both symbolic and statistical approaches to c
omputational semantics, and everything in between.
The areas of interest for the conference include
all computational aspects of meaning of natural l
anguage within written, spoken, or multimodal comm
unication. Papers are invited on topics in these a
nd closely related areas. Two types of submission
are solicited: Long papers (describing original r
esearch) and Short papers (typically system descri
ption with demonstration or project descriptions,
 or ongoing research).
