DESCRIPTION:The AGI conference series is the premi
 er international event aimed at advancing the stat
 e of knowledge regarding the original goal of the 
 AI field — the creation of thinking machines with 
 general intelligence at the human level and possib
 ly beyond.  This is an unprecedentedly exciting ti
 me to be working in the AGI field. Today, in 2017,
  the quest to create AI systems with general intel
 ligence at the human level and beyond is taken mor
 e seriously by a broader community than ever befor
 e. There has been no better time in history to gat
 her together with other AGI researchers and learn 
 and discuss and share together, regarding how best
  to take the next steps toward advanced artificial
  general intelligence.  As in prior AGI conference
 s, we welcome contributed papers on all aspects of
  AGI R&D, with the key proviso that each paper sho
 uld somehow contribute specifically to the develop
 ment of Artificial General Intelligence. We are al
 so seeking proposal for workshops, tutorials and d
 emos.
