SUMMARY:Conference & Workshop on Set Theoretic & T
opological Methods in Model Theory, Tezpur, India
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20170907

LOCATION:Tezpur, India
DESCRIPTION:The aim of this programme is to bring
together mathematicians and logicians working on/i
nterested in various topics on the border of model
theory, topology and set theory. The leading them
es are topological dynamics and descriptive set th
eoretic methods in model theory. Apart from the st
ate of the art lectures by leading experts, two tu
torials, each consisting of 3 one-hour talks on th
e main themes of the meeting, are being planned. T
he meeting will give opportunity for discussion an
d collaboration between experts from different but
related parts of logic. This may result in the fu
ture in discovering new interactions between model
  theory, topology and set theory.
