DESCRIPTION:The BLAST Conference Series circulates
  among different universities and focuses on Boole
 an Algebras, Lattices, Algebraic Logic, Quantum Lo
 gic, Universal Algebra, Set Theory, Set-theoretic 
 Topology and Point-free Topology. This year's inst
 allment of the BLAST conference series will take p
 lace on the campus of Vanderbilt University from A
 ugust 14 to August 18, 2017. It honors the life an
 d memory of Bjarni Jónsson. The scientific program
  will include nine invited lectures, three tutoria
 ls and contributed talks. It is worth mentioning t
 hat there will be a spectacular solar eclipse in N
 ashville on August 21st, so perhaps some participa
 nts may elect to stay on for a few days after the 
 conference.  This is a preliminary announcement. A
 dditional information will be provided in the begi
 nning of April.  Authors are kindly asked to submi
 t an abstract (not exceeding two pages) for their 
 proposed contributed talks. The deadline for the a
 bstract is May 31, 2107. After this date, contribu
 ted talks may still be accepted, depending on avai
 lable space.
