SUMMARY:5th International Workshop on Strategic Re
 asoning (SR 2017), Liverpool, England
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20170726
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20170727
LOCATION:Liverpool, England
DESCRIPTION:Strategic reasoning is one of the most
active research areas in the multi-agent system d
omain. The literature in this field is extensive a
nd provides a plethora of logics for modelling str
ategic ability. Theoretical results are now being
used in many exciting domains, including software
tools for information system security, robot teams
with sophisticated adaptive strategies, and autom
atic players capable of beating expert human adver
saries, just to cite a few. All these examples sha
re the challenge of developing novel theories and
tools for agent-based reasoning that take into acc
ount the likely behaviour of adversaries. The inte
rnational workshop on strategic reasoning aims to
bring together researchers working on different as
pects of strategic reasoning in computer science,
both from a theoretical and a practical point of v
iew. SR 2017 will be co-located with TARK 2017, w
hich will be held in Liverpool on July 24-26, 2017
. Two types of submission are invited: contributi
ons reporting on novel research; expository contri
butions reporting on published work.Strong prefere
nce will be given to papers whose topic is of inte
rest to an interdisciplinary audience and all cont
ributions should be written so that they are acces
 sible to such an audience.
