 are problems of philosophical ontology, epistemolo
 gy, philosophy of science, and philosophy of mind 
 that are formulated or solved using formal methods
  (as defined in logic, mathematics, formal linguis
 tics, theoretical computer science, information sc
 ience, AI) and/or with references to the results o
 f natural and social sciences.  The conference wil
 l include a special session "Logic, concepts and c
 ommunication", a panel discussion "Proposal of a B
 D/MD/PhD in philosophy on: Philosophy & Computer S
 cience. A perspective for applied formal philosoph
 y", and a PhD session with 20 minutes talks follow
 ed by 10 minutes discussion.  Please, submit a 600
  characters abstract for a 30 minutes talk (+ 10 m
 inutes discussion). Please, indicate if the abstra
 ct is meant for a PhD session.
