SUMMARY:12th International Workshop on Neural-Symb
olic Learning and Reasoning (NeSy 2017), London, E
 ngland

LOCATION:London, England
DESCRIPTION:Artificial Intelligence researchers co
ntinue to face huge challenges in their quest to d
evelop truly intelligent systems. The recent devel
opments in the field of neural-symbolic integratio
n bring an opportunity to integrate well-founded s
ymbolic artificial intelligence with robust neural
computing machinery to help tackle some of these
challenges. The Workshop on Neural-Symbolic Learn
ing and Reasoning is intended to create an atmosph
ere of exchange of ideas, providing a forum for th
e presentation and discussion of the key topics re
 lated to neural-symbolic integration. Researchers
and practitioners are invited to submit original
papers that have not been submitted for review or
published elsewhere. Submitted papers must be writ
ten in English, must be formatted according to the
Springer LNCS style, and should not exceed 10 pag
es (excluding references/bibliography) in the case
of research and experience papers, and 6 pages (e
xcluding references/bibliography) in the case of p
osition papers or technical notes. Selected papers
will be presented during the workshop. Deadline f
or paper submission: May 7, 2017. Additionally, p
resentations based on extended abstracts will be c
onsidered. These shall allow to report on latest r
esults which had not been available at the time of
paper submission. Deadline for abstract submissio
 n: June 18, 2017.
