SUMMARY:Workshop on Language, Ontology, Terminolog
 y and Knowledge Structures (LOTKS - 2017) , Montpe
 llier, France
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20170919
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20170919
LOCATION:Montpellier, France
DESCRIPTION:This workshop, held in conjunction wit
h the 12th International Conference on Computation
al Semantics (IWCS), will bring together two close
ly related strands of research. On the one hand it
will look at the overlap between ontologies and c
omputational linguistics; and on the other the rel
ationship between knowledge modelling and terminol
ogies -- as well as the many points of intersectio
n between these two topics. This workshop aims to
create a forum for open discussion that will help
to highlight the common areas of interest in the d
ifferent fields concerned, as well as fostering di
alogue between the various different approaches ta
ken by each discipline.     This workshop welcomes
contributions from researchers in fields such as
 linguistics, terminologies, and knowledge engineer
ing, whose work fits in with our topics of interes
t as well as interested industry professionals. We
invite proposals in the form of abstracts of up t
o 6 pages (up to 4 pages of text +2 pages for refe
rences) for short papers, or up to 8 pages (up to
6 pages of text+ 2 pages for references) for long
papers. We particularly welcome approaches with a
 cross-language, cross-domain and/or cross-interdis
 ciplinary scope.
