SUMMARY:Workshop "The Experimental Philosophy of M
 orality & Causation", Bochum, Germany
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20170613

LOCATION:Bochum, Germany
DESCRIPTION:The Ruhr University Bochum and the Exp
erimental Philosophy Group Germany are happy to an
nounce a one-day workshop on Experimental Philosop
hy. Over the last two decades, philosophers have
taken an increasing interest in experimental appro
aches to philosophical questions. Experimental phi
losophers use tools from a variety of empirical sc
iences, such as psychology, sociology, linguistics
, and neurosciences. In this workshop, we would li
ke to address this approach. Just in the spirit of
experimental philosophy, we believe that the best
progress is made by joining forces from different
disciplines. We therefore invited seven speakers
 from philosophy, psychology, and law.
