SUMMARY:10th Workshop on Intelligent Narrative Tec
 hnologies (INT10), Snowbird UT, U.S.A.
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20171005
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20171009
LOCATION:Snowbird UT, U.S.A.
DESCRIPTION:The Intelligent Narrative Technologies
(INT) workshop represents the tenth iteration of
a series of gatherings dedicated to advancing rese
arch in artificial intelligence for the computatio
nal understanding and expression of narrative. Our
goal is to contribute to this forward momentum by
congregating a multidisciplinary group of researc
hers and practitioners to share their latest work
at the intersection of narrative and technology. I
NT10 will be celebrated as a workshop of the Thirt
eenth AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence a
nd Interactive Digital Entertainment (AIIDE). INT
  brings together computer scientists, psychologist
s, narrative theorists, media theorists, artists,
writers, and members of the interactive entertainm
ent industry. From this broad expertise, the works
hop focuses on computational systems to represent,
reason about, create, adapt, and perform interact
ive and non-interactive narrative experiences. Thi
s also includes fundamental research in relevant f
ields such as natural language processing, believa
ble virtual characters, commonsense reasoning, com
puter vision, computational media, and human story
telling. We invite submissions of Full papers des
cribing completed or ongoing relevant research (6
pages plus 1 page of references); Short papers (3
pages plus 1 page of references), Demo proposals (
1 page) and panel proposals (1 page) may be submit
ted (speakers in the panel proposal should be alre
ady confirmed upon submission). Position papers ar
 e also welcome.
