SUMMARY:Workshop on Recent Advances in Concurrency
& Logic (RADICAL 2017), Berlin, Germany
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20170904
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20170904
LOCATION:Berlin, Germany
DESCRIPTION:RADICAL is a new workshop aligned with
in the intersection between concurrency and logic,
broadly construed. Recently, the interplay of co
ncurrency and logic with areas/applications has re
ceived much attention, as witnessed by recent CONC
UR editions. These areas/applications have become
increasingly consolidated, and start to have profo
und impact in neighbouring communities. As an unfo
rtunate side effect, however, the important unifyi
ng role that concurrency plays in all of them seem
s hard to find in a single scientific event.  RADI
CAL intends to fill a gap between CONCUR researche
rs that now also typically publish and interact in
other different venues; it also aims at attractin
g researchers from neighbouring communities whose
work naturally intersects with CONCUR. Since we w
ould like to recover the informal character of sci
entific workshops, rather than regular paper submi
ssions, we invite submissions describing talk prop
osals on the intersection of logic and concurrency
. Submissions based on already published works sho
uld include explicit references/links as appropria
te. It is understood that for each accepted submis
sion one of the co-authors will attend the worksho
 p and give the talk.
