DESCRIPTION:The workshop provides an overview of f
 ormal semantics and its applications. In addition,
  it explores applications of formal semantic and t
 opological tools to spatial concepts. After an adv
 anced introduction, formal semantic modelling in s
 patial concepts will be discussed. The workshop wi
 ll conclude with an overview of some formal repres
 entations of spatial relations in Baltic languages
 .  We also invite contributed talks covering some 
 of the topics mentioned above.
