DESCRIPTION:The International Symposium on Artific
ial Intelligence and Mathematics (ISAIM) is a bien
nial meeting that fosters interactions between mat
hematics, theoretical computer science, and artifi
cial intelligence. This is the fifteenth Symposium
in the series, which is sponsored by Annals of Ma
 thematics and Artificial Intelligence. Traditiona
lly, the Symposium attracts participants from a va
riety of disciplines, thereby providing a unique f
orum for scientific exchange. The three-day Sympos
ium includes invited speakers, presentations of te
chnical papers, and special topic sessions. We se
ek submissions of recent results with a particular
emphasis on the foundations of AI and mathematica
l methods used in AI. Papers describing applicatio
ns are also encouraged, but the focus should be on
principled lessons learned from the development o
 f the application.
