SUMMARY:20th European Agent Systems Summer School
 (EASSS-2018), Maastrict, The Netherlands
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20180618
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20180622
LOCATION:Maastrict, The Netherlands
DESCRIPTION:As was the case with the earlier editi
ons, EASSS-2018 will offer a rich programme of bot
h introductory and advanced courses on a broad ran
ge of topics in the area of Autonomous Agents and
Multi-Agent Systems. The courses will be taught by
leading researchers in the field and are aimed at
Masters and PhD students, but can be attended by
any interested researcher. EASSS 2018 is organise
d under the auspices of EURAMAS, the European Asso
ciation for Multi-Agent Systems. We invite propos
als from members of the research community who are
willing to offer tutorials at EASSS-2018. We are
interested in tutorial proposals in all areas of c
urrent research in Autonomous Agents and Multi-Age
nt Systems. As a very rough guideline, any topic t
hat might be covered at the AAMAS conference or in
the JAAMAS journal would be suitable for EASSS. W
e aim for a mix of tutorials on fundamental and we
ll-established topics, as well as overviews of new
and emerging areas of research. We encourage bot
h well-established senior researchers and younger
colleagues to submit proposals. EASSS tutorials ar
e typically 3.5 hours long, divided into two sessi
ons of 1.45 hours each. Each tutorial is usually g
iven by one or two people.
