Views Bas ed on Chinese Sources - The Practices of Abstract ion and their Interpretations in the Mathematics o f Ancient China We intend the Masterclass to be a fully interactive event, with the twofold objecti ve to understand in depth the materials presented in the lectures, and to provide early career resea rchers (PhD students and Postdocs) with an opportu nity to discuss their ongoing work in a helpful an d constructive environment. The lectures by Prof. Chemla will take place in the mornings, and will b e followed by afternoon sessions with presentation s by early career researchers in the History and P hilosophy of Mathematical Practice. We ask people to register to the Masterclass by May, 1st. We in vite early career researchers who would be interes ted to present their work to send us an abstract o f at most 1 page by April, 1st.
