RuleML+RR 2018 aims to bring together rigorous researchers and inventive practitioners, interested in the fou ndations and applications of rules and reasoning i n academia, industry, engineering, business, finan ce, healthcare and other application areas. It wil l provide a forum for stimulating cooperation and cross-fertilization between the many different com munities focused on the research, development and applications of rule-based systems.
\n\nRu leML+RR 2018 will be part of the Luxembourg Logic for AI Summit (LuxLogAI) "Methods and Tools f or Responsible AI", bringing together RuleML+ RR 2018, DecisionCAMP 2018, the Reasoning Web Summ er School (RW 2018), and the Global Conference on Artificial Intelligence (GCAI 2018).
\nRuleML+RR welcomes original research fro
m all areas of Rules and Reasoning. High-quality p
apers related to theoretical advances, novel techn
ologies, and innovative applications concerning kn
owledge representation and reasoning with rules ar
e solicited.
\n Particularly encouraged are su
bmissions that combine one or several of the confe
rence topics with the overall focus theme of the L
uxLogAI Summit: Methods and Tools for Responsible
AI.
We accept the following submission
formats for papers:

ing original and significant research results)
\n - Technical Communications (intended for promi
sing but possibly preliminary work, position paper
s, system descriptions, and applications descripti
ons, and optionally accompanied by a demo).

In addition to regular submissions, RuleML+RR 201
8 will host an Industry Track, a Doctoral Consorti
um and the 12th International Rule Challenge.
