Under the auspices of FoLLI the European Summer School in L ogic, Language, and Information (ESSLLI) is organi zed every year in a different European country. It takes place over two weeks in the European Summer , hosts approximately 50 different courses at both the introductory and advanced levels, attracting around 400 participants each year from all the wor ld.
\n\nThe main focus of the program of t he summer schools is the interface between linguis tics, logic and computation, with special emphasis in human linguistic and cognitive ability. Course s, both introductory and advanced, cover a wide va riety of topics within the combined areas of inter est: Logic and Computation, Computation and Langua ge, and Language and Logic. Workshops are also org anized, providing opportunities for in-depth discu ssion of issues at the forefront of research, as w ell as a series of invited lectures.
\n\nT he circumstances around the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic forced the organizers to postpone the 32 nd edition of ESSLLI, planned for 2020 in Utrecht as ESSLLI-2020, to 26 july-13 august 2021, as well as hold it online. In view of the online format, the program is spread over three weeks so as to fa cilitate attendance.
\nPropos als for courses and workshops are invited in all a reas of Logic, Linguistics and Computation. Cross- disciplinary and innovative topics are encouraged. Each course/workshop will consist of five 90-minu te sessions, offered daily in a single week. Propo sals for 2-week courses should be structured and s ubmitted as two independent one-week courses. The ESSLLI program committee reserves the right to acc ept just one of the two proposals.
\n\nThe EACSL offers to act as a sponsor for one course o r workshop in the areas of Logic and Computation c overed by the Computer Science Logic (CSL) confere nces. This course or workshop will be designated a n EACSL course/workshop. If you wish to be conside red for this, please indicate so on your proposal.
