DESCRIPTION:Under the auspices of FoLLI the Europe
 an Summer School in Logic, Language, and Informati
 on (ESSLLI) is organized every year in a different
  European country. It takes place over two weeks i
 n the European Summer, hosts approximately 50 diff
 erent courses at both the introductory and advance
 d levels, attracting around 400 participants each 
 year from all the world.  The main focus of the pr
 ogram of the summer schools is the interface betwe
 en linguistics, logic and computation, with specia
 l emphasis in human linguistic and cognitive abili
 ty. Courses, both introductory and advanced, cover
  a wide variety of topics within the combined area
 s of interest: Logic and Computation, Computation 
 and Language, and Language and Logic. Workshops ar
 e also organized, providing opportunities for in-d
 epth discussion of issues at the forefront of rese
 arch, as well as a series of invited lectures.  Th
 e circumstances around the coronavirus (COVID-19) 
 pandemic forced the organizers to postpone the 32n
 d edition of ESSLLI, planned for 2020 in Utrecht a
 s ESSLLI-2020, to 26 july-13 august 2021, as well 
 as hold it online. In view of the online format, t
 he program is spread over three weeks so as to fac
 ilitate attendance.  Proposals for courses and wor
 kshops are invited in all areas of Logic, Linguist
 ics and Computation. Cross-disciplinary and innova
 tive topics are encouraged. Each course/workshop w
 ill consist of five 90-minute sessions, offered da
 ily in a single week. Proposals for 2-week courses
  should be structured and submitted as two indepen
 dent one-week courses. The ESSLLI program committe
 e reserves the right to accept just one of the two
  proposals.  The EACSL offers to act as a sponsor 
 for one course or workshop in the areas of Logic a
 nd Computation covered by the Computer Science Log
 ic (CSL) conferences. This course or workshop will
  be designated an EACSL course/workshop. If you wi
 sh to be considered for this, please indicate so o
 n your proposal.
