 ithmetization of analysis’ Bolzano is often consid
 ered a pioneer of. In this talk I will offer a det
 ailed analysis of Bolzano's RZ VII which leads me 
 to conclude that Bolzano's measurable numbers cann
 ot fully be described as an attempt at arithmetizi
 ng analysis – rather, they are still very much par
 t of a traditional picture of mathematics as the s
