DESCRIPTION:We would like to announce an upcoming 
 talk in the ILLC Diversity Talks Series. On Wednes
 day 9 November 16:30 – 18:00, Moshe Vardi will giv
 e a talk on “Artificial Intelligence: Ethics Versu
 s Public Policy”. Due to family reasons, Moshe wil
 l give the talk remotely, but we encourage everyon
 e to attend on-location at SP 904 Room D1.111!  Al
 ternatively, you are welcome to join us on Zoom.  
 In a recent survey, many ILLC members expressed th
 eir interest in a talk on Ethical AI. Moshe Vardi 
 acted as advisor for the ILLC for many years, and 
 we hope that this event will bring together everyo
 ne interested in this topic.  The talk will be fol
 lowed by a reception in the ILLC Common Area at LA
 B42 (SP 900, LAB42, 6th floor).
