DESCRIPTION:VvL Essentials talks are high-level in
 troductory talks, that introduce early-career logi
 cians to a field they may not be familiar with. Th
 is forms a low-threshold way to broaden their own 
 specific research area and encourages collaboratio
 ns. The talks will be hosted by different universi
 ties within the Netherlands, and they will have a 
 hybrid format - for those who attend in person, dr
 inks and snacks will be provided afterwards!  The 
 very first edition of VvL Essentials is organized 
 by Rodrigo Almeida (PhD student at the ILLC) and G
 iovanni Varricchione (PhD student at Utrecht Unive
 rsity).
