DESCRIPTION:Context affects a wide range of activi

" has become an area of study in its own right, as
evidenced by the numerous workshops, symposia, se

 International and Interdisciplinary Conference on
Modeling and Using Context (CONTEXT'03), will prov
ide a high-quality forum, for discussions about co
ntext among researchers active in artificial intel
ligence and other areas of computer science, cogni
tive science, linguistics, the organizational scie
nces, philosophy, and psychology, with a strong em
phasis on interdisciplinary research. For more i
nformation, an online registration form, and a pre
 liminary program, see http://context.umcs.maine.ed
