The 3rd Amsterdam Graduate Philosophy Conference is d evoted to continue the discussions that were raise d in the previous two conferences, as well as to l ay the ground for new ones. The theme this year is Truth, Meaning, and Normativity. We invite subm issions from graduate researchers conducting novel philosophical research into any of the three conf erence topics. We also encourage submissions that inform the discussion about truth, meaning, and/or normativity by offering a philosophical interpret ation of results from other fields such as logic, cognitive psychology and linguistics (including fo rmal semantics and sociolinguistics). Since the topics of truth, meaning, and normativity naturall y feed into each other, we also welcome contributi ons whose particular aim is to explore any of the many intricate ways in which these notions relate to one another. Submissions on the role that these notions have played, or play, in the broad (analy tic) tradition or, more specifically, within the l inguistic turn are also of interest to the confere nce. For more information, please visit the confe rence website at http://www.illc.uva.nl/agpc/agpc1 0/, or contact agpc at uva.nl. The deadline for submission is 18 July and it should follow the on- line submission form, available on the conference website. Candidates eligible for submission are gr aduate students and those who have completed a doc toral dissertation within the last three years. X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
