DESCRIPTION:We provide an axiomatic framework for
the the well studied lexicographical improvement p
roperty and derive new results on the existence of
strong Nash equilibria for a very general class o
f congestion games with bottleneck objectives. Thi
s includes extensions of classical load-based mode
ls, routing games with splittable demands, schedul
ing games with malleable jobs, and more. Furthermo
re, we discuss the computational complexity of com
puting pure Nash and strong equilibria in these ga
mes. For more information, see k.r.apt at cwi.nl
