SUMMARY:8-10 July, 2003, 10th International Confer
ence on TEMPORAL REPRESENTATION AND REASONING and
4th International Conference on TEMPORAL LOGIC (TI
 ME-ICTL-2003), Cairns, Queensland, Australia
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20030708

LOCATION:Cairns, Queensland, Australia
DESCRIPTION:In the year 2003 the TIME symposium an
d ICTL will be held as a combined event. The idea
is to bring together active researchers from disti
nct research areas involving representation of, or
reasoning with, time. As with previous meetings i
n these respected series, one of the main goals of
this conference will be to bridge the gap between
theoretical and applied research in temporal repr
esentation and reasoning. Thus, we especially enco
urage submissions concerning temporal aspects with
in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Temporal
/Spatial Databases and Applications of Temporal Lo
gic in Computer Science in order to achieve a mult
i-disciplinary perspective on the topic and to ben
efit from cross-fertilisation of ideas. There ar
e four tracks in the symposium with separate progr
am committees, all overseen by the program chairs.
The conference is planned as a three-day event, a
nd will be organised as a combination of technical
paper presentations, an extended poster session,
and four keynote talks. For more information, s
