DESCRIPTION:Drawing the line between science and p
seudoscience is known to be a hard task that has h
aunted philosophers and scientists at least since
the birth of the Galilean scientific tradition. Dr
awing inspiration from some works of Wittgenstein,
and some of his intuitions on nonsense and the im
portance of practice, I try to outline a questioni
ng procedure to help us place a couple of exemplar
y dubious practices on the one or the other side o
f the `worthiness' line. Most literature focuses o
n trying to obtain a demarcation between what's sc
ience ("and *thus* it's worthwhile") and what's no
 t. My approach tries to go straight to what's wort
hwhile and what is not, by trying to clarify conce
pts such as `cure' and `effective therapy'. What n
eeds have a healer for us to put our dear bones in
their hands? For more information, see https://w
