DESCRIPTION:The Amsterdam Colloquia aim at bringin

 nitive scientists and computer scientists who shar
 e an interest in the formal study of the semantics
  and pragmatics of natural and formal languages.  
 The 20th Amsterdam Colloquium will feature two wor
 kshops on Negation and on Reasoning in Natural Lan
 guage; and one evening lecture, jointly organized 
 with the E.W. Beth Foundation.  Furthermore, there
  will be a special issue of the journal Topoi with
  selected contributions presented at the Colloquiu
 m, both in the main programme and in the workshops
