  at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, 
 on the occasion of Noortje Venhuizen's PhD defense
 . The aim of this workshop is to bring together cu
 rrent theoretical and empirical analyses of the be
 haviour of different types of projection phenomena
 , and their relation to other aspects of meaning. 
 Besides several invited talks, the workshop will i
 nclude a "data-driven" session, in which the parti
 cipants are invited to collaborate on the analysis
  of real-life linguistic examples.  Attending the 
 workshop is free, but we kindly ask you to registe
