DESCRIPTION:A system is proposed which speeds up s
ome computations by taking advantage of current la
rge, fast memory in order to efficiently store and
recall relevant computational histories. The syst
em automatically exploits predicted patterns in a
computation in order to accelerate computation whe
n it can. Our goal is to quantify the specific spe
ed-ups that can be achieved and to provide lower b
ounds indicating the limits of our approach. For
more information, see here or contact Ronald de Wo
 lf (rdewolf at cwi.nl)
