SUMMARY:Context Representation and Reasoning
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20050705
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20050705
LOCATION:Paris, France
DESCRIPTION:Most of the results in knowledge repre
sentation and automated reasoning are based on the
assumption that knowledge is stored in an unique
homogeneous block. In the last decade, with the ad
vent of the web and the ubiquitous connectivity, i
t becomes more and more relevant in many applicati
on areas to have the capability to represent and r
eason on knowledge bases which are not organized a
s a monolithic entity, but in which knowledge is s
cattered in a large set of local and autonomous in
ter-related contexts. In more recent years, a numb
er of approaches to context representation and rea
soning have been proposed in the different applica
tion areas, possibly under different names. This w
orkshop has the main objective to allow the exchan
ge of these experiences among expert in the differ
ent application areas. This workshop is held in
conjunction with the 5th International and Interd
isciplinary Conference on Modeling and Using Conte
xt. For more information, see here, http://sra.itc
 .it/events/crr05/ or http://www.context-05.org/.
For CRR 2005 we are soliciting both high quality
technical papers that describe research results a
nd system demo on the relevant topic areas. Papers
can be submitted through the Context-05 web site.
Submission deadline is March 25, 2005.
