The summe r school will offer a rich programme of introducto ry and advanced courses on a broad range of topics in the area of autonomous agents and multiagent s ystems. The courses are aimed at PhD students, adv anced Master's students, and other early-stage res earchers and will be taught by leading researchers in the field. Topics to be covered in this year's edition include decision making, game theory, mec hanism design, judgment aggregation, epistemic log ic, argumentation theory, reinforcement learning, model checking, verification, and machine ethics.< /p>\n\n
EASSS is organised under the auspices of EURAMAS, the European Association for Multiagen t Systems. The school attracts both beginner and e xperienced researchers, encouraging cooperation be tween representatives of many branches of Multi-Ag ent Systems research community. A limited number o f student grants are available in the form of fee waivers: deadline for application is 5 June 2017.< /p>\n
We invite proposals from me mbers of the research community who are willing to offer tutorials at EASSS-2017. We are inter ested in tutorial proposals in all areas of curren t research in Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Sys tems. We aim for a mix of tutorials on funda mental and well-established topics, as well as ove rviews of new and emerging areas of research.
\ n\nTutorials should cover an appropriate sele ction of approaches and not specifically focus on the tutors' own contributions. Besides providing a coherent overview of a specific research topic, w e specifically encourage tutorial proposals to art iculate a clear link to applications and pragmatic consideration of the fundamental topics presented .
