SUMMARY:The 14th International Conference on Quant
um Physics and Logic (QPL), Radboud Universiteit,
 Nijmegen, Netherlands
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20170703

LOCATION:Radboud Universiteit, Nijmegen, Netherlan

DESCRIPTION:The conference brings together researc
hers working on mathematical foundations of quantu
m physics, quantum computing, and related areas,wi
th a focus on structural perspectives and the use
of logical tools, ordered algebraic and category-th
 eoretic structures, formal languages,semantical me
thods, and other computer science techniques appli
ed tothe study of physical behaviour in general. W
ork that appliesstructures and methods inspired by
quantum theory to other fields (including compute
r science) is also welcome.   Prospective speakers
are invited to submit one (or more) of the follow
 ing: - original contributions consist of a 5-12 p
age extended abstract which provides sufficient ev
idence of results of genuine interest and enough d
etail to allow the program committee to assess the
merits of the work. Submission of substantial alb
eit partial results of work in progress is encoura
ged. Authors of accepted papers will be invited to
give long or short talks, depending on the qualit
 y and/or maturity of the submission. - extended a
 bstracts describing work submitted/published elsew
here will also be considered, provided the work is
recent and relevant to the conference. These cons
ist of a 3 page description and should include a l
ink to a separate published paper or preprint. Th
ere will be an award for the best paper whose auth
ors are allstudents, at the discretion of the prog
 ramme committee.
