DESCRIPTION:We are happy to announce the second Am
 sterdam SMART Cognitive Science Conference on the 
 theme of ‘SMART Animals’. The conference will take
  place in Amsterdam, from December 6th-8th. The co
 nference will consist of three plenary evening lec
 tures and debates, and three successive workshops 
 devoted to the topics of animal cognition in the b
 road sense (i.e., including humans).  The conferen
 ce is free of charge. Due to space limitations, ho
 wever, you will need to formally register to be al
 lowed in the workshop or lecture rooms. We therefo
 re encourage you to register as soon as possible. 
 The deadline for registration is November 15th. Yo
 u can find the link to the registration form here.
   Every researcher affiliated to the research scho
 ols of the Faculty of Humanities at the University
  of Amsterdam can submit a workshop proposal. We i
 nvite proposals in all areas of the humanities and
  cognitive science but cross-disciplinary and inno
 vative topics are particularly encouraged.
