DESCRIPTION:The European Summer School in Logic, L
 anguage and Information (ESSLLI) is an annual even
 t under the auspices of the Association for Logic,
  Language and Information (FoLLI) and brings toget
 her logicians, linguists, computer scientists, and
  philosophers to study language, logic, and inform
 ation, and their interconnections. ESSLLIs attract
  around 500 participants from all over the world. 
  Proposals for courses and workshops at ESSLLI 201
 8 are invited in all areas of Logic, Linguistics a
 nd Computing Sciences. Cross-disciplinary and inno
 vative topics are particularly encouraged.  Each c
 ourse and workshop will consist of five 90 minute 
 sessions, offered daily (Monday-Friday) in a singl
 e week. Proposals for two-week courses should be s
 tructured and submitted as two independent one-wee
 k courses. Each proposal should fall under one of 
 the following categories: 'Foundational Courses', 
 'Introductory Courses', 'Advanced Courses' or 'Wor
 kshops'.
