DESCRIPTION:HERA ("Humanities in the European Rese
 arch Area") is a partnership between fifteen Human
 ities Research Councils across Europe and the Euro
 pean Science Foundation, with the objective of fir
 mly establishing the humanities in the European Re
 search Area and in the 6/7th Framework Programmes 
    The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Res
 earch NWO, coordinator of HERA, is happy to draw y
 our attention to two large-scale transnational res
 earch programmes in the Humanities which will be l
 aunched in 2009. With respect to this a Matchmakin
 g Event will take place, in Paris on Saturday, 19 
 April 2008.   200 travel grants (€ 500,--) are ava
 ilable for attending the event. Deadline: 28 Febru
